Who makes the best hamburgers? Is it McDonalds? No. Then why are they the biggest fast food company in the world? - Because they have the best marketers and business strategists. Notice a trend here?
If you're a computer professional already, and you're checking out the possibility of working with Country Boy Computers, I'll know by talking with you about how good you are, and I'll assume that you'll be pretty good at it if you even contact me. That's not what this training program is about. You already know how to fix computers.
Rather, our training program is on how to think like a business person. No, this isn't going to be a course in accounting either. We can hire out for someone to do our books if we have to. This is a course in thinking like a business owner.
I'm not going to list the course contents here though, because it could change from person to person, depending on where you're at in your thinking. It will, however, consist of a series of books, audios (CDs, whatever), and perhaps videos. Most of it will come from Legacy Business Group, but there may be some from other sources as well.
If we decide that we can work with each other (you and us), then you'll become an independent contractor for us for a while, probably working part time after your current job. That way, we can get to know you better, and you can go through the training program. Once you've gotten through that, then we'll work up the papers for you to buy an ownership share of Country Boy Computers.
Of course, you've gotta understand, we're going to be pretty picky, and we're going to take a while doing this. It's not going to happen overnight, and it probably won't happen this year either. But if you're patient and ambitious and have integrity, it just might be right for you. After all, it's taken me over 3 years to get to this point myself.
On the other hand, if you'd just like to sign up for the training program, and you're not really interested in becoming a business partner of Country Boy Computers, you can do that too. Just let us know, and we'll work it out.
Thanks,
Tim
