Here's the Rest of What We're Doing
We've got several other businesses going or under development right now.
Yeah, you're probably thinking we're crazy, but let me explain.
-
First, we've been doing all of this part time so far, while I've been keeping
my regular job in NVA. That's so we don't have to go into debt to
finance all this.
-
It also allows us to get up and running without giving up the "security"
of my NVA job. (Job Security is an oxymoron. Anyone who's ever
been let go from a company, or who knows anyone like that, knows exactly
what I mean. When the Bottom Line comes calling, you get sent packing.)
-
Country Boy Computers will allow us to have current income to replace my
NVA job. These other businesses will do some of that too, but mostly
they're focused on producing a residual income (at my age, that means Retirement
Income), something that will keep on producing for a long time after the
effort has gone into it.
As for our other businesses, here's the rundown:
-
YourLegacies.com: A few
years ago, a friend of mine had us over for dinner, and he told me his
story. It was fascinating, so I commented that he should write a
book. Well, he said that other people had told him that too, and
he'd like to, but he couldn't do it himself. I believe God has given
me a gift for writing too, so I offered to write it for him, and he accepted.
And now I've completed it and have an agent, and we're trying to find a
publisher for it. Since then, we've added scrapbooking and Family
History CDs. I'll write just about anything for just about anyone
too. I'm looking for another biography to write too, by the way.
-
WhatIfScenarios.com: This one is still under development, and actually
it kinda falls under YourLegacies, since it's writing too. Ever since
I got out of the US Army, I've been in the National Guard, so I've kept
in touch with the military and been to a lot of exercises and deployments.
So with some urging from a friend of mine, I've started writing training
scenarios for various military units and their bases. I'm also willing
to write scenarios for other groups too, police departments, etc, pretty
much anyone who might need something like that to train with.

LegacyBusinessGroup.biz:
This is a group of independent business owners we're associated with.
Most of the business owners I mentioned before as teaching us how to run
a business are members of LBG. They're a great bunch of people and
very helpful in every respect. If you're thinking about starting
your own business, they would be a smart choice to get support from.
They're also associated with an internet mall concept that we get residuals
from, which is why I include them in our list of businesses. They
explain how that works on their site. If you click on that link,
you'll need a referral number to get into the site. Since I'm referring
you, you can use ours, 2664647. Be sure to fill out the guest registration
form at the start. We call ourselves T&T King Associates with
them.
-
EmployeesBecomingEntrepreneurs.com: This is just in the early stages
of development. Eventually, T&T King Associates will fall under
here as well, since the idea is to help other people start businesses of
their own. More about this one later. If you are interested
in starting your own business, for now you can either check out the Legacy
Business Group site above, or if you're a qualified computer repair professional,
you can click here.
I've alluded to a business
ownership training program a couple of times. We get ours through
Legacy Business Group. If you'd like to receive the training program,
but you're not interested in starting your own business yet, send us an
email, and we can work that out
for you.
