One of those Service Agreement benefits is extended use of our toll-free number. What that means is that when you call with a computer problem, if you have a Service Agreement with us, we'll try our level best to answer your question right over the phone, with no charge to you at all. We'll probably remember who you are and all that, but just in case we don't, you ought to at least know where your account number is so we can look up your service call history.
We can also provide you with general computer advice over the toll-free number if you have a Service Agreement with us. For instance, if you're shopping for a computer at a store somewhere, you can call us on your cell phone and ask us for help picking out the right deal with the right options for what you need.
On the other hand, if you call us on our toll-free number, but you don't
have a Service Agreement with us, the only thing we'll be able to do for
you is set up an appointment for me to come visit you.
She'll ask you if you'd like to leave us a message or if you'd like to speak to us in person. If you choose to have her call us, she'll forward your call to whichever phone we're at right then (it follows us around), but while it's dialing us, all you'll hear is silence. Don't worry or hang up; it'll get through to us eventually.
If for some reason we're busy or can't get to the phone fast enough, she'll come back and let you leave a message for us. We'll be checking it every so often, so it shouldn't take us too long to get back with you.
