Hi, my name is Tim King. For most of the last 15 odd years, I've been working for various big corporations in Northern Virginia as a Systems Administrator. The pay was good, and the work was interesting, but my heart was never quite in it, and the commute has finally gotten to me. So I decided to start my own computer repair service for the Northern Shenandoah Valley. My wife deserves the credit for coming up with our name, Country Boy Computers.
I'll be honest with you and admit that I don't have any of those fancy Certification letters after my name, MCSE, etc. I never quite saw the need for them. That, and I was always too busy working to study for the tests. But I do have 15 solid years of computer repair and network administration experience behind me, and I've done just about everything that there is to do in my field. So if the letters are important to you, then you probably ought to find someone else to fix your computers, but if they're not so important to you, then we'll get along just fine. I'll fix your computers for you, and you won't lose an arm and a leg for me doing it.
You won't find a lot of cool features, glitzy screens, or techie jargon on this web site either. That's something programmers do, and I'm not one, so I don't have it. I didn't hire one to build my site either, since I'm on a budget just like you are.
What I do best is help people. I like helping real people and giving them real solutions to their all too real problems. I know how frustrating it can be when the stupid computer won't do what you want it to. I'm not perfect either, so I can't guarantee anything, but if I can't fix it, I'll find someone who can. And whatever the case, I'll explain what's going on in language you can understand.
So whether a friend told you about my site or whether you got it from one of my business cards, I'm looking forward to working with you and hopefully developing a long term business relationship and a friendship with you. Take your time, look around our site, and get acquainted with us. Then send us an email or give us a call to let us know you dropped by. Oh, by the way, for those of you who may have received a survey from T&T King Associates last summer, that's us. And we're extending our $10 discount offer for anyone who brings in the intro letter from the survey to us until December 31, 2006.
Thanks, and God bless,
Tim
